Thank you for visiting my website. I live in Florence, Alabama with my partner Phillip. Last October 29, 2009 we celebrated our 25th anniversary. The jury is still out as to what he did in another life to get me in this life. I am the one on the left in the photo. I own a small salon where I have worked for 15 years. In total I have been a cosmetologist for over 25 years. Good heavens I must be old. Soon I will celebrate my 50th birthday. Did someone say 50??? Phillip and I both love to work in the garden. However, now Phillip loves gardening more than I do.LOL He did all the wonderful photos and all the hard work to design my website. Thank you Phillip.

I have always been fascinated with dolls and my love for dolls is one of my earliest memories. A Barbie was my first doll at the age of 4. Sewing came naturally to me at a young age. It was a challenge to sew for a doll with that figure. Many years later I discovered Gene Marshall. In my heart she is the perfect doll. Her figure is the ultimate to sew for. I love her proportions. Recently I started to collect the AvantGuards. Sewing for them is a new challenge. I am a stickler for everything fitting like a glove. About a year ago I was able to add the Sybarite Inque to my collection. I have made a couple of outfits for her. Now let me tell you, that figure will take some time to completely figure out. She is a curvy girl. Soon I hope to own my first BJD. It is so exciting to think about a whole new figure to wear my designs. My heart and soul goes into each piece I make. Everything is made to the quality that I would want to keep in my collection. Knowing that I have been fortunate enough to sell my designs all over the world is very special to me. Not in a 100 lifetimes did I ever think I would have my own website selling my outfits.

I hope you enjoy looking at my designs as much as I enjoy creating them. Each outfit is always new to me. They are never quite what I start out with. Every outfit comes into my mind in one form, then I translate it into fabric (never on the first try). My sewing is my relaxation. As soon as I sit down at my machine all my stress seems to vanish. If there is the smallest part of my design that I am not satisfied with it is discarded and I start over. I hope you can see what I feel when a new ensemble is completed.

Again thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to get to know me.

Life is to Short not to play with dolls.
